Stories From The Hearth founder Elizabeth Thomas conducts, records, and transcribes interviews. That text is used to create a manuscript. You get the chance to edit, then we add photos and format it into a book. After you give final approval, your book is professionally printed and bound.
Are you somewhere in the middle of your life history journey and not sure where to go? We can check over what you have so far and discuss what is missing, then conduct, record, and transcribe interviews to fill in the gaps (or help you shrug off that writer's block!). It's all edited together into a single manuscript, which you edit. From there, it's book formatting with photos, then printing and binding.
Already got a manuscript ready to go? We'll edit and proofread it for you and then work with you to add photographs. Next comes book formatting. After your final approval, your book is professionally printed and bound.
Way ahead of the game? If your manuscript would get an A+ from your high school English teacher, we're more than happy to simply format it into a book for you and arrange for printing.
This one's for the writer and the procrastinator in all of us. Stories From The Hearth will help you navigate this project while keeping you on a set schedule. No need for writer's block!
Tell your memories and share your legacy in your own voice. Stories From The Hearth will interview you and create an audio (MP3) recording that you can share with your family.
Raw audio available from all interviews. Just ask!
